Harry Potter

Last night Jennie and I went to see:

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

Over all I was impressed. I knew that they were going to leave out alot. (Where the hell was Peves????)
But they stayed fairly true to the story and the characters, and the casting was top notch!
Also, I don't think you need to have read the books to enjoy the movie.
I would like to say that the books are BETTER that the movie, but it was really nice to see what a game of Quidditch really looks like!

I still think it would have been better to break up the book into a TV series, so they could cover more of the stuff in the book. But the Almighty $ decided a film series would be more lucrative, and I'm sure thay are right.

If you haven't read the books, I strongly urge you to read them, they are wonderful! And see the movie! It was well wotht the cost of admition!

Harry Potter is a pretty good movie. I didn't think it was going to be that good cause it looked like a kids movie but when I went to see it it really amazed me. I thought it was even better then Lord Of The Rings.
I liked the LOTR movie more, but probably because I'm such a big fan of the Potter books that I was a little annoyed at what they left out.
But it WAS a great movie!
